Jet2 has announced a new route from Manchester Airport to a stunning Greek Island known for its golden beaches, lush greenery and scenic villages. The airline and holiday operator will launch the new flights and package holidays from May next year.
Samos, an island in the Aegean sea which lies just off the coast of Turkey, will be the 15th destination in Greece that Jet2.com and Jet2holidays serves from Manchester.

Flights will operate twice weekly from May 5 to October 30 2026, giving the passengers a choice between early, peak, or late summer.
The new route responds to “continued demand” from UK holidaymakers looking for a Greek holiday.

As well as the flights to Samos, Jet2holidays has also launched a range of new hotels across the island. Over 30 3-5 star hotels are available to book now in six sun-kissed resorts – Samos Town, Kampos, Kokkari, Pythagorion, Karlovasi and Balos.
Samos is an island bursting with charm with golden-grained beaches and lush green hills.
Holidaymakers can spend their days lounging by the glittering Aegean Sea, hiking through ancient ruins or enjoying delicious Greek fare at a cosy taverna.
Between the charming town of Pythagorion or the peaceful village of Kokkari, there is always something to explore, with public transport links making it easy to access the variety of resorts and beaches.
With stunning sunsets and a laid-back vibe, Samos is the ultimate place to relax, unwind and soak up the tranquillity of Greece.
In 2026, Jet2 will operate to 15 airports in Greece, including Athens (operating all-year round), Corfu, Chania (Crete), Heraklion (Crete), Kefalonia, Halkidiki, Kos, Kalamata, Lesvos, Preveza, Rhodes, Skiathos, Santorini and Zante.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “The launch of Samos for Summer 26 from Manchester Airport gives holidaymakers and independent travel agents across the region access to this beautiful Greek island and the exclusive chance to enjoy an authentic slice of Greece.
“We are very pleased to be expanding our presence across Greece by adding this brand-new gateway to our portfolio, appealing to holidaymakers looking for a laid-back Greek island experience. Offering customers and independent travel agents even more choice, we are also delighted to be adding a selection of hotels available to book now across six stunning resorts.”
He added: “After experiencing consistent demand from holidaymakers wanting to explore Greece, we are confident that these new flights and holidays will prove popular with customers looking for an off the beaten track style holiday. We look forward to taking customers to Samos on their well-deserved holidays and showcasing our VIP customer service.”
An example package with Jet2holidays from Manchester to Pythagorion in Greece comes in at £1,199 per person for seven nights bed and breakfast departing from Manchester on May 5 2026, based on two adults and includes 22kg baggage allowance and return transfers.
Stephen Turner, Chief Commercial Officer at Manchester Airport, said: “We’re proud to connect people in the North to the places they want to go to, and the Greek Islands are a firm favourite among our passengers.
“It’s exciting to see Jet2 offering this new service for summer 2026, making Manchester just the second airport in the UK – and first outside London – with a direct flight to Samos.
